Rules & Policies

Short version: don't cheat, don't be cruel, and don't spoil the season for everyone else. The long version is below, and it is what staff actually enforce.

Staff have final say. Rules can't cover everything. If something is clearly against the spirit of the server, staff can act on it even if it isn't listed here. Decisions can always be appealed on the Support page.

1 General conduct

  • Treat people decently. Harassment, slurs, hate speech and targeted abuse get you removed immediately, first offence.
  • No doxxing. Never share anyone's real name, address, workplace, school or photos without their explicit permission.
  • Keep it broadly family friendly. Assume a thirteen year old is reading every message you send.
  • Don't impersonate staff, other players, or content creators — including through skins, usernames and nicknames.
  • No advertising. Other servers, Discords, shops and referral links stay off the network.

2 Chat & voice

  • English in public channels so staff can moderate. Any language is fine in DMs and private parties.
  • No spam — repeated messages, caps walls, flooding emotes or ASCII art in chat.
  • No filter bypassing. Creative spelling of a slur is still a slur.
  • Voice chat follows the same rules. Ear-rape, soundboards during filming and mic spam get you muted.
  • Don't backseat moderate. Report it and move on — arguing with a rule-breaker in chat makes it worse.

3 Fair play & clients

Allowed: vanilla-style performance mods, minimap without entity radar, keystrokes, FPS overlays, cosmetics, Lunar / Badlion / Feather.
Not allowed: reach, killaura, autoclickers, X-ray, ESP, freecam, fly, macros that automate gameplay, and any client that touches combat.
  • No cheat clients or hacked modules, in any game mode, at any time.
  • No bug abuse. Found a duplication glitch or an out-of-bounds route? Report it — you get credited, not punished.
  • No datamining the server to find scripted events before they fire — that includes reading plugin files and world downloads.
  • Autoclickers are banned outright, including for AFK farms and parkour.
  • Staff may request a screenshare. Refusing, or leaving mid-check, is treated as an admission.

4 Scripted events & spoilers

  • Don't leak what's coming. If you work out a scheduled event early, keep it out of public chat until it has aired.
  • No spoilers outside spoiler channels for at least 48 hours after an episode goes up.
  • Play it straight. When an event fires, react to it in world — don't step outside the fiction to argue about the plugin.
  • Follow staff during filming. While a scripted beat is running, staff instructions override the general rules.
  • Don't sabotage a beat. Deliberately breaking someone else's moment ends your season, not just your episode.

5 Builds & griefing

  • Don't grief. Destroying or defacing someone else's build is an instant temporary ban.
  • Original work only. Schematics and pre-built imports don't belong in a survival world.
  • No inappropriate builds — anything sexual, hateful or shock-value gets removed and punished.
  • Lag machines are banned. Redstone clocks, mass entity farms and chunk-loading traps included.
  • Nothing resets. The world carries between episodes, so damage you do is permanent — that cuts both ways.

6 Accounts & alts

  • You are responsible for your account. "My brother was playing" is not a defence.
  • Alt accounts are allowed, but not to evade a punishment or to get around the whitelist.
  • Ban evasion extends the original punishment and bans every linked account.
  • No account selling, trading or sharing — including handing your account to someone else during a season.

7 Punishment policy

  • Minor (spam, mild chat) — warning, then a 1 to 24 hour mute.
  • Moderate (griefing, leaking scripted events, filter bypass) — 3 to 30 day ban.
  • Severe (cheating, hate speech, doxxing, ban evasion) — permanent ban.
  • Punishments stack. Repeat offences escalate to the next tier automatically.
  • Everything is appealable except doxxing and hate speech. See ban appeals.

8 Privacy policy

  • What we store: your Minecraft username and UUID, your IP address for ban enforcement, and chat logs.
  • Why: to run the SMP, enforce the rules, and handle appeals. Nothing more.
  • We never sell your data or share it with third parties outside of the tools we use to run the server.
  • Retention: chat logs are kept for 90 days. Punishment records are kept permanently so appeals have context.
  • Deletion requests can be made through Support. Active punishment records cannot be erased.
